Two Books You Should Read
In honor of Mother's Day I wanted to give you a few book ideas for your nightstand. Reading books has been so helpful in my walk of motherhood. It usually takes me a while to get through a book, it's on the fringe moments of the day or sitting in the car while I wait for my boys to get out of school when I read. But I need it, and it's worth making time for.
Surprised By Motherhood was a captivating story about a woman's journey into motherhood. From not ever wanting children of her own, to praising God for redeeming her outlook on motherhood. This is a beautifully written and relatable book.
One Thousand Gifts has helped change the way I view life, finding joy when joy seems hard to find. Giving thanks for things I would normally look past. Slowing down and stoping to see, taste, and give thanks! We can't slow down time, but we can slow down. Ann has been a huge mentor in my passion for writing and enjoying the life given to me.
