Dear Military Mom
I wont pretend to understand all that you are going through. All your thoughts and emotions. But I watch you, and I admire you. I admire you for being sacrificial and standing by your husband as he fights for our freedom. I admire you as you care for your babies. You tell them about daddy and you wave with excitement as a helicopter flies by, "Hi Daddy!" And when your babies aren't watching, you put your head down and cry. They are tears you've been holding in all day.
I admire you for staying strong as you hold your baby girl up to the computer screen so your husband can see her for the first time.
I wont pretend to understand. But I want you to know that I admire you. I want you to know that when I see the stars and stripes of our country's flag—you are on my mind.
I just want to say thank you, and I admire you.
