A Little Getaway

Today I enjoyed a little getaway. I kissed my babies' plump lips and told them I'd be home soon, but have a blast with daddy. After a few long chats, missing our exit, and a stressful detour, we found ourselves at my youngest brother's graduation (CSU Long Beach). I am so proud of him. "Go Beach!" So we sat and we waited... and waited... and waited...

and waited...

Until finally... We made memories today. We enjoyed reminiscing about highlights of Nate's life over dinner...You know, like the time he ran across the football field waving his high school flag, in only his speedo! We laughed and we clanked our glasses to Nate. Moments like these make me appreciate what I have. I adore my family and love being around them. They are pretty entertaining too—and if you know me, I love free entertainment. The best part about today is that it was a warm up for this weekend. I have a feeling my cheeks are going to be sore from laughing and my feet will be tired from dancing. But hey, we all know you don't need a party to laugh or a dance floor to get your groove on. Pick up your baby and dance, find your friend and laugh. Have a wonderful weekend.

Love,

Nat

P.S. These are the pictures Aaron sent me while I was gone...
